The folk’s at Harry’s Pizzeria, 3819 N. Miami Ave., Miami, are proud to have made Food & Wine’s list of 50 best pizza places in the country. Chef-owner Michael Schwartz’s “go-to cheese is Trugole, which melts like mozzarella but is more stretchy and gooey,” the magazine reports.

To celebrate the first birthday of Michael’s Genuine Home Brew — and mark its transition from 22- to 12-ounce bottles — Harry’s on Friday will give 22 purchasers of the large-format beers a card good for a free pizza at its new Sunday brunch, served 11 a.m.-3 p.m. weekly.

On Aug. 27, the pizzeria hosts a pop-up dinner with Michael Solomonov, the James Beard Award-winning chef of Philadelphia’s Zahav. Tickets are $150 at brownpapertickets.com; search “Zahav Pizzeria.” Or call 786-275-4963.
