Weather alert: Thunderstorms expected with a high of 90

 

The workweek in South Florida is getting off to a soggy start,

Forecasters expect a 50 percent chance of thunderstorms Monday, mostly after 11 a.m. The chance of rain will fall to 30 percent at night.

The storms “could be strong,” said CBS4 meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez.

The high will be around 90, humidity above 80.

Tuesday will bring similar weather, according to the National Weather service.
