Hollywood robbery suspects caught after crashing getaway car



Hollywood police have arrested three people they say robbed a jewelry store then crashed their getaway car Saturday.

Police said two people robbed the Renee’s Golden Touch jewelry store at 6501 Taft Street, then ran to a getaway car driven by a third person and sped off, according to Miami Herald news partner WFOR CBS-4.

But a witness followed them, and the trio crashed on Johnson Street in Pembroke Pines.

Police arrested them. No one was injured in the crash, according to CBS-4.
