Big Bellator MMA fight card on July 31 on Spike TV

 

Bellator MMA and Spike TV, both proud supporters of USA Wrestling, present an action-packed fight card (Bellator 98) from 7-10 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, featuring MMA stars with world-class wrestling pedigree.

Among those competing include:

Ben Askren - 2008 US Olympic freestyle wrestler and All-American wrestler at the University of Missouri

Mohammed “King Mo” Lawal – All American wrestler at Oklahoma State

Michael Chandler – All-American wrestler at the University of Missouri

Shawn Bunch – All-American wrestler at Edinboro University

Bubba Jenkins – All-American wrestler at Arizona St. University

“The sport of amateur wrestling churns out some of the best athletes in the world, and this fight card demonstrates the breadth of talent that has risen through the collegiate wrestling ranks.” said Bjorn Rebney, Chairman and CEO, Bellator: MMA. “Wrestling deserves the Olympic platform to showcase these incredible athletes.”

Several MMA superstars teamed to create a Keep Olympic Wrestling PSA that will air during Bellator 98.
