Hot cigars: Thieves take two hours to steal $250,000 in stogies

A group of burglars took their time — two hours, to be exact — to steal $250,000 in cigars from a Tamarac warehouse, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.

They broke in early Friday morning at Florida Distributors Inc. at 2700 NW 55th Ct.

Surveillance video shows them jumping a fence and entering through the roof, BSO said. Then they loaded 700 cases of cigars into three vehicles from 1:30 to 3:30 a.m.

Anyone with information may call CrimeStoppers of Broward County at 954-493-TIPS (8477).
