Cooking class at Fulford United Methodist Church teaches youths recipes to fight obesity

Molina Healthcare held a free cooking class called Dr. Cleo’s Cooking Club at Fulford United Methodist Church, 1900 NE 164th St., in North Miami Beach on Monday, July 22. The class — held as part of the church’s Branches Fulford youth outreach program and led by Ray Newlands, also known as the Short Chef — was aimed at teaching youths healthy eating habits to combat childhood obesity.
