Zara, the Spanish retailer, has signed a lease on Miami Beach’s Lincoln Road for 26,000 square feet of space, creating the brand’s new Miami flagship store. Zara previously had its flagship store in Aventura Mall, which was replaced by H&M.
The new two-story Zara, at 420 Lincoln Rd., at the corner of Washington Ave., will offer men’s, women’s children’s clothing and accessories. Zara plans to open the store this winter.
A registered Miami Beach landmark, 420 Lincoln Rd. was originally designed by renowned architect Albert Anis at the site of the Lincoln Road Hotel. Zara said its flagship will integrate the property’s Art Deco roots with a rounded glass façade.
Zara will join a roster of tenants that currently includes Scotch & Soda, PAUL Lincoln Road, Sunglass Hut, OndadeMar and Starbucks.
