Libraries inspire us

It’s hard to imagine living in a community without libraries. We all made a choice to live and buy homes in Miami-Dade County.

I want to live in a community that offers us services that our children can enjoy and benefit from.

I didn’t have much growing up, but the libraries were able to open the door to a world of opportunities for me and my family. Having a safe place to go after school to be entertained by all the books, programs and computers encouraged me to better myself. I just hope my son has the same opportunities I once had. I hope the mayor and commissioners vote to make Miami-Dade County better not worse. Let’s save the libraries and make us proud to live in Miami-Dade County, a community moving in the right direction.
