Denmark: Copenhagen Summer Dance


An international slate of dance troupes and choreographers is expected Aug. 5-11 at this year’s Copenhagen Summer Dance. Among the headliners for the open-air contemporary dance event: Swedish choreographer Örjan Andersson, who will present excerpts of his work RØD (RED) performed by the Danish Dance Theatre, Israeli choreographer Idan Sharabi and Polish choreographer Jacek Przybylowicz. While admission is free, seating is limited, so it might be a good idea to reserve a ticket in advance.
