The BB&T arena will be transformed into a hiring fair on Tuesday, July 23rd.
The event is the latest hiring expo by Job News, which rents tables to employers but allows job seekers to participate for free. Job News expects thousands of applicants for 2,500 positions that will be available at the event. It runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and parking is free at the Sunrise arena.
Among the dozens of employers expected to attend: First Service Residential (pool workers, customer-service reps), the Miami Dolphins (ticket takers, game-day staff, event promoters), and Benihana (sushi chefs, hosts, kitchen help and managers).
Attendees are encouraged to register online at jobnewsfl.com. An announcement for the fair notes: “professional dress is required.”
