Do the board members of the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority know that this is a rather poor county? Do they know it has high unemployment and low pay rates? The result of any toll increase will be local streets that are more cluttered with traffic.
In New York City, you don’t pay any tolls on any of the expressways and parkways including those going to Long Island or on any of the bridges going from Queens and Brooklyn to Manhattan.
It is incredible that no one can put a stop to this madness. Pretty soon we will have tolls on the State Road 826, U.S. 1 and who knows where else.
