When the story came out that Secretary of State John Kerry, was aboard his yacht in Nantucket while Egypt erupted in political chaos, the State Department emphatically denied the report. Then, when the media showed pictures of Kerry aboard the yacht, the State Department again, first, denied but later admitted he was on board but “only briefly” and that he spent the entire time on official business.
CBS went on to report that there was no record of official telephone communication between Kerry’s floating State Department and any other governmental agency.
Why do we keep getting misinformation and lies from the supposedly most transparent administration in history?
It’s embarrassing and shameful. Even worse, it keeps on happening.
