Flood advisory for NE Miami-Dade, Miami Beach until 6 a.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory until 6 a.m. Friday for Northeast Miami-Dade and Miami Beach.

Heavy rain is moving northward across Virginia Key and Miami Beach. Portions of the Beach have already been hit by 1.5 inches of rain and more rain is falling early Friday morning.
