In an effort to better reach her constituents, Miramar Vice Mayor Alexandra Davis will host a “Tea and a Talk” next Wednesday.
The informal sit-down with residents will be held from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at the Dunkin Donuts located at 6190 Miramar Pkwy.
“Anything to aid in bringing City Hall to the people, making it more convenient for residents to speak face-to-face with me to discuss and address those issues that are most important to them, is the basis of my commitment to serve, Davis said in a news release.
This is a continuation of her morning meet-and-greet series dubbed "Coffee and A Chat" which ran for several weeks last summer.
The idea for the afternoon “tea talks” is in response to residents who complained about not being able to attend the morning events. Davis will host other tea/coffee house events throughout the city, stretching from the historic eastern section to the western most areas.
