Officials identify victim of Glacier park fall

The Associated Press

Officials with Glacier National Park have released the name of a 21-year-old Florida man who died in a fall while climbing a mountain in the northeastern part of the park.

Park officials say the victim of Tuesday's fall was Cesar Flores Jr., of Davie, Fla. He had been working as a cook at the Many Glacier Hotel.

Park officials say Flores was climbing Apikuni Mountain with three co-workers on Tuesday morning when he fell about 1,000 feet.

An initial investigation and witness reports indicate Flores lost his balance near the edge of a cliff. His body was recovered Tuesday evening.
