Hawks sign first-round pick Schroder

The Atlanta Hawks signed their first-round pick, guard Dennis Schroder on Thursday.

Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Schroder, the 17th overall pick of the 2013 NBA Draft, has played professionally in Germany since 2009-10.

The 6-foot-1 Schroder has played in the Beko League, Germany's top league, for the last two seasons. He averaged 11.9 points, 3.3 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 31 games last season.
