A 3-year-old boy was found wandering the streets of Miami Wednesday morning while his mother was at a friend’s house partying, Miami police said.
A passerby who saw the child called police after finding him walking along Flagler Street at 32nd Avenue at 4:15 a.m.
The child’s mother, identified as Janisleidys Herbello, told detectives she left her son sleeping at 1 a.m. and “went to a friend’s house to drink and use drugs.”
She returned home at 5 a.m. to find police at her home.
Herbello, 24, was charged with one count of child neglect.
