49ers sign first-round pick Reid

The San Francisco 49ers signed safety Eric Reid to a four-year contract on Tuesday.

Reid was selected 18th overall by the 49ers in this year's draft out of Louisiana State University.

In 2012, Reid started all 13 games and recorded 91 tackles, two interceptions, one fumble recovery and seven passes defensed. He earned All-America and First-Team All-SEC honors.

The 22-year-old Reid finished his college career with 199 tackles, six interceptions, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and 11 passes defensed.

The 49ers have now signed all 11 of their 2013 draft picks.
