Her quarterfinal opponent on Friday will be Hungary's Timea Babos.

Also on Day 3, fourth-seeded German Annika Beck whipped Czech Lucie Hradecka 6-3, 6-3, Austrian Yvonne Meusburger ousted fifth-seeded Swede Johanna Larsson 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, and Babos doused seventh-seeded Spaniard Maria-Teresa Torro-Flor 1-6, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4). Beck will meet Meusburger in the round of eight.

The 2013 Hungarian Grand Prix champion will earn $40,000.
