Coral Gables Trust to open in Fort Lauderdale

Coral Gables Trust Company said Monday that its growth has prompted it to open a third office in South Florida, at 401 E. Las Olas Blvd. in Fort Lauderdale.

The firm, which offers wealth management, estate and trust services, has a main office in Coral Gables and a trust representative office in West Palm Beach.

Coral Gables Trust was founded in 2004, and serves clients with $1 million to more than $50 million. The company said it has nearly $500 million in assets under management.

Michael Carris, senior vice president and relationship manager, who has more than 44 years of fiduciary/trust advisor and investment/wealth management experience, as well as Diana Batchelor, vice president and relationship manager, who has more than 16 years of trust administrative and trust advisor experience, will be based at the new Fort Lauderdale office.
