Sound Advice said Monday that it has signed a lease for a new store at 9171 S. Dixie Highway in Pinecrest, which will mark its third store in South Florida.

Sound Advice operated for 27 years before it was sold to Tweeter in 2001. After Tweeter closed the stores in 2008, Sound Advice’s original founders, Peter Beshouri and Michael Blumberg, purchased the company’s assets out of bankruptcy in 2010 and re-opened Sound Advice’s first new showroom in Fort Lauderdale in 2011.

The company’s new store in Pinecrest is expect to open by the end of the year, Beshouri said. The company also opened a showroom in Boca Raton last year.
