Recap: Colorado vs. D.C.

The Sports Network

D.C. United claimed just its third road point of the season as the club played to a 0-0 draw with the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on Sunday.

Scoring chances were at premium throughout the match, though United goalkeeper Joe Willis produced a couple of fine saves in the latter stages to preserve his side's fifth clean sheet of the season.

Colorado, meanwhile, builds upon its impressive back-to-back wins over the Montreal Impact and New York Red Bulls to extend its unbeaten run to three games.

The Rapids (7-7-6) improve to 27 points on the season to retain sixth place in the Western Conference while D.C. United (2-13-4) remains at the bottom of the East on 10 points.
