Recap: FC Dallas vs. Chivas USA

The Sports Network

For the second successive match, Chivas USA managed to claim a positive result as it held on to get a point from a 0-0 at FC Dallas on Thursday.

The Goats ended a seven-match losing streak last time out thanks to a 1-1 draw with the New England Revolution, and they built upon that result by earning a hard-fought point at FC Dallas Stadium for a Fourth of July treat.

The draw gives Chivas its fifth road point of the season as the club improves to 13 points overall.

It is the third successive draw for FC Dallas, lifting the club into sole possession of second place in the Western Conference on 31 points. Schellas Hyndman's side trails first-place Real Salt Lake by three points but still holds a game in hand.
