Main Street America Group Selected as “Best of Show” at 55th Annual IMCA Showcase Awards

 

Super-Regional P&C Carrier Honored for Annual Report, Internal Communications, Community Efforts

The Main Street America Group received the “Best of Show” Award for its 2012 Annual Report as well as three “Awards of Excellence” at the 55th Annual Insurance Marketing Communications Association (IMCA) Showcase Awards.

Main Street America, a super-regional property/casualty insurance carrier, received IMCA Showcase Awards in four different categories during the ceremony at the 2013 IMCA Annual Meeting in Philadelphia:

  • Main Street America’s 2012 Annual Report, On Target, was chosen as Best of Show in the “Private Company Annual Reports” category. The company also received an Award of Excellence for the Online Interactive Edition of its Annual Report in the “External Corporate Electronic or Interactive Communications” category. This is the third time in the past five years Main Street America’s Annual Report has been honored with a Showcase Award, including two “Best of Shows.”
  • For the second consecutive year, Main Street America’s online benefits open enrollment tutorial earned an “Award of Excellence” in the “Employee Electronic or Interactive Communications” category. The company has been a finalist in this category for three consecutive years.
  • Main Street America’s video production, Woodland Acres Elementary School Visits Main Street America – 2012 Field Trip, earned an Award of Excellence in the “External Corporate Audio/Visual Communications” category.

Judging criteria for the IMCA Showcase Awards included theme, graphic design, creativity, editorial content, objectives and metrics. All judging was conducted virtually this year. There were more than 30 judges who participated, including advertising, marketing, public relations and corporate communications executives from across North America.
