Two hospitalized after car slams into Hollywood home

Two people were injured Friday evening when their car crashed into a Hollywood house.

Rescuers pulled them from the crushed car in the 2600 block of Taft Street and took them to Memorial Regional Hospital, said Hollywood Police spokeswoman Nikki Coffin.

Police have not yet released their names or said how severe their injuries are.

No one inside the house was hurt, but the building was damaged and will be assessed by Hollywood Fire Rescue crews who will decide if it’s still safe.

This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
