Storms are moving in across South Florida, and forecasters expect a soggy Friday and wet weekend.
The National Weather Service in Miami-Dade is warning of heavy rain, lightning, flooding and possibly funnel clouds.
“Quiet and dry for now across South Florida, but later on storms will fire up,” CBS4 meteorologist Lissette Gonzalez said.
Forecasters are predicting a 50 percent chance of rain and thunderstorms Friday, mainly in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper-80s, lows in the eupper-70s.
Rain chance is 40 percent on Saturday and 50 percent on Sunday.
