New brunch at Tosca, dishes at Devon

 

Tosca, 210 23rd St., Miami Beach, has added a la carte brunch service from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday with such dishes as Wagyu skirt steak and eggs ($29) and braised pork belly dulce leche and eggs ($22), both with home fries and salsa verde; 786-216-7230.

Devon Seafood + Steak at the Palms at Town & Country Mall, 11715 Sherri Ln., Kendall, has made summer menu additions including Creole halibut with sweet potato ($34), Southern fried soft shell crabs with Cheddar and bacon grits ($29) and grilled Copper River salmon with two sides ($36); 305-275-0226.

    Chef Allen class spotlights July 25th Taste of Nation

    Taste of the Nation South Florida, a first-time Miami-Dade and Broward collaboration, is set for July 25 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Chef Allen Susser, a longtime leader of the chefs’ hunger-fighting fundraiser, plans to whet appetites with a free cooking class at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Whole Foods Market, 6701 Red Rd., Coral Gables.

    Brasileiro, a Brazilian-fusion steakhouse and lounge, is set to open July 12 in the old Porcao space at the Four Ambassadors Suites Hotel,801 Brickell Bay Dr., Miami.
