Friday is National Ceviche Day, according to two local raw-fish spots that plan to celebrates it:

Jaguar Ceviche, 3067 Grand Ave., Coconut Grove, is offering a trio of ceviches in varieties such as mussels with cilantro cream and ají limo and lobster tail with mint, mango and avocado for $20 Friday through July 9. Order during the 4-7 p.m.. weekday happy hour and pair the plate with a $5 cocktail; 305-444-0216.

My Ceviche is discounting prices on all in-store orders of ceviche and ceviche bowls by 25 percent on Friday at both of its locations, 235 Washington Ave., Miami Beach (305-397-8710), and 1250 S. Miami Ave., Miami, (305-960-7825).
