Dania Beach motorcyclist killed after veering off I-95

A 48-year-old-man died Saturday night when his motorcycle suddenly veered off I-95.

Saturday at about 5 p.m. Youssef Souliki, of Dania Beach, was travelling southbound on I-95 south of Copans Road on his 2009 Harley motorcycle when something went terribly wrong. For an unknown reason, he veered across the southbound lanes and left the roadway on the west shoulder.

The motorcycle overturned and Souliki was ejected. He was taken to Broward Health North where he died at about 8:10 p.m.

Souliki was not wearing a helmet. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
