Casa D’Angelo, 1201 N. Federal Hwy., Fort Lauderdale, presents a four-course Brunello wine dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Tickets are $185 plus tax and tip; 954-564-1234.

The Federal Food Drink & Provisions, 5132 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, hosts a six-course dinner at 7 p.m. Wednesday by resident chef Cesar Zapata with tea pairings by Mike “Jojo” Ortiz of JoJo Teas. Cost is $65, with wine pairings available for $35. Reserve at 305-758-9559.

db Bistro Moderne, 255 Biscayne Blvd., Miami, kicks off the summer with a four-course cocktail dinner June 27 featuring such dishes as grilled Maine sea scallops with tequila vinaigrette and Bulleit Bourbon ice cream sundae.     Chef Allen class spotlights July 25th Taste of Nation

    Taste of the Nation South Florida, a first-time Miami-Dade and Broward collaboration, is set for July 25 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Chef Allen Susser, a longtime leader of the chefs’ hunger-fighting fundraiser, plans to whet appetites with a free cooking class at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Whole Foods Market, 6701 Red Rd., Coral Gables.
