Miami-based Lennar Corp. said it has expanded homebuilding operations into the Nashville, Tenn., market, acquiring control of about 40 homesites in the Tollgate Village community.
Lennar said its new venture into Nashville is overseen by Andy Pfeifer, who is a 12-year Nashville homebuilding veteran.
Lennar’s move into Tennessee is part of a recent strategic expansion that includes Atlanta, Seattle, Portland and Central Texas.
The company builds homes in 19 states and 46 markets.
