Let only 50,000 immigrants in

The United States should allow only 50,000 immigrants a year to enter the country. Of these 50,000, there should be equal amounts of immigrants taken from around the world. This would help address global overpopulation and also make sure that the United States protects its economic and natural resources, not overdevelop its land, and protects the environment.

It would also make sure that the United States is not giving special treatment to any ethnicity just because politicians are looking for their votes.

All immigrants coming here would need to know English. It would also be necessary to seal the borders. This also wouldn’t give any one ethnic group a majority of political power later on, and it would give the United States a better approach in how it deals with foreign policy. This would be true immigration reform.
