Harry’s Pizzeria, 3918 N. Miami Ave., Miami, hosts chef Jeff Michaud, a James Beard Award winner from Philadelphia’s Osteria, for a pop-up dinner at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The evening includes a cocktail, hors d’oeuvres, four-course meal with wine and beer and a take-home bottle of limoncello for $150 including tax and tip. Taste of the Nation South Florida, a first-time Miami-Dade and Broward collaboration, is set for July 25 at the Loews Miami Beach Hotel. Chef Allen Susser, a longtime leader of the chefs’ hunger-fighting fundraiser, plans to whet appetites with a free cooking class at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Whole Foods Market, 6701 Red Rd., Coral Gables.
Brasileiro, a Brazilian-fusion steakhouse and lounge, is set to open July 12 in the old Porcao space at the Four Ambassadors Suites Hotel,801 Brickell Bay Dr., Miami. Serving lunch and dinner daily, the restaurant will offer all-you-can-eat rodizio for $39 plus an a la carte menu by chef Guily Booth (Local House, YUCA, Cafeina); 786-502-3829, brasileiromiami.com.
