San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker to have MRI Wednesday

Spurs guard Tony Parker experienced tightness in his right hamstring during the Game 3 and will have an MRI on Wednesday morning. Parker said he was questionable for Game 4.

“Hopefully it’s not anything big and it’s just cramping or got tight on me or I don’t know. It was just a weird feeling and I wanted to make sure with the docs it was OK.”

Parker finished with six points and only played two minutes in the fourth quarter. It was a good time to sit out. The Spurs defeated the Heat 113-77.

“[Gregg Popovich] didn’t want to take any risks,” Parker said. “I felt something on my hamstring, so I don’t know…It was just weird. I can’t remember one particular play.”
