Celebrity Cruises has canceled another sailing on the 98-passenger Celebrity Xpedition as it tries to get its license to cruise in Galapagos National Park reinstated sooner rather than later.
After canceling the June 2 and 9 voyages, the cruise operator has also called off the June 16 sailing.
The cruise line, part of Miami-based Royal Caribbean Cruises, had its license to enter the park suspended for 45 days over the transportation and storage of out-of-season lobster.
Those who planned to sail on June 16 will get a full refund for their canceled trip and a 25 percent credit for a future Celebrity Xpedition cruise in the next two years. Passengers who booked plane tickets through Celebrity will get a full refund; those who booked separately will get a refund of their change fees.
