Huck retains WBO cruiserweight belt with decision over Afolabi

Marco Huck took a majority decision over Ola Afolabi to retain his WBO cruiserweight title on Saturday.

Germany's Huck (36-2-1, 25 KOs) retained the belt over Afolabi (19-3-4, 9 KOs) by scores of 117-111, 115-113 and 114-114.

It was the third bout between the boxers. They fought to a majority draw on March 5, 2012 in Efurt, Germany and Huck captured a unanimous decision in the first meeting on Dec. 5, 2009.

This was the 11th title defense for Huck.
