An Oakland Park man was arrested Tuesday night and charged with murder.
Victor Ramos, 57, was arrested by Margate police on charges of murder and attempted murder when he was seen walking through a parking lot at 4998 W. Atlantic Blvd., the Broward Sheriff’s Office said.
Ramos was taken to a hospital after he complained about dizziness, BSO said. He was to be transferred to the Broward County Mail Jail after his discharge from the hospital.
BSO reported that shortly after 7 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a call of shots fired at a duplex at 316 NW 40th Ct., Oakland Park.
Police found Kenneth Sewell, 25, shot to death and April Maria Muniz Moscareillo, 22, with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
BSO reported that neighbors and Moscareillo said Ramos and Sewell got into an argument late last week because of the way Ramos looked at Moscareillo. Sewell’s body was found at the rear of the duplex.
