Head Strength and Conditioning Coach Darren Krein, Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach Dave Puloka and several players exercised with students prior to the event. Nutritionist Bob Calvin gave them tips to promote healthy eating habits.
“It was a lot of fun to introduce some of the activities that we do,” Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. “Hopefully, a few of them take it home and start a lifetime of being healthy.”
The students chosen were recognized for academic excellence, most improved, good citizenship, good attendance and good behavior.
“It was great to be out here with these kids. I know we were excited to be at Dave and Busters,” Dolphins center Mike Pouncey said. “We are still kids at heart. So we had a great time enjoying the day.”
