TNA leaves Orlando, visiting Tampa (Part 2)

This is Part 2 of conversations with some TNA Wrestling’s associates who face the camera or stand behind it during the company’s final scheduled shows from the Impact Zone at Universal Studios Orlando in March.

So TNA Impact Wrestling (8 p.m. EST Thursdays, Spike TV) is no longer housing at the Impact Zone as the company took the next step in its evolution, currently traveling to a different host city each week for its flagship broadcast.

TNA spent three days at the Impact Zone at Universal Studios Orlando filming One Night Only pay-per-views, each representing its own theme, which are available for viewing throughout May.

Will TNA ever return to the Impact Zone?

Never say never.

TNA will be traveling I-4 again but on its west side in Tampa on Thursday, May 23 for an Impact Wrestling broadcast from the USF Sun Dome.

(Orlando is on the east side of I-4.)

You probably will see TNA Wrestling’s Brian Stifler, one of the brightest young referees in the business, who is working under the endorsement and tutelage of standout referees Earl and Brian Hebner.

You probably won’t see Steve Small, who is one of the hardest working men behind the scenes in TNA. As TNA Wrestling’s Director of Productions, he makes it work in studio and on television. An avid runner, he actually did have a brief on-screen role as Jeff Jarrett’s lawyer. Nice trench coat, sir.

You definitely will see the work of Chris Dispensa, TNA Wrestling’s head carpenter, props master and stage manager. Chris has been with the company quite a while, and he is very good at what he does. The Ultimate X steel cage, Hulk Hogan’s office, the trap doors, Suicide’s entrance, the Gut Check office, Kurt Angle’s entrance from below the top of the rampway are just some of his succesful projects.

You most definitely will see the work and style of Christy Hemme. A jill of all trades, Hemme is athletic, talented and beautiful. A TNA Knockout for sure, she’s wrestled, managed, interviewed talent and hosted segments. Diversity defines Hemme; she is currently Impact Wrestling’s ring announcer.
