The University of Floridas Mike Gillislee became the latest Miami Dolphins draft pick to sign with the team, agreeing to a four-year rookie deal expected to pay an estimated $2.3 million.
Gillislee, the 164th pick in last months draft, is expected to compete with Lamar Miller and Daniel Thomas for playing time in the Dolphins backfield. As a senior at Florida, Gillislee rushed for over 1,100 yards and scored 10 touchdowns.
He becomes the fifth member of this years draft class to sign with the Dolphins. Dion Jordan, the No. 3 overall pick, is one of the four who remain unsigned.
