Man dies in motorcycle crash in North Miami-Dade

A motorcycle accident claimed a man’s life Sunday afternoon after he lost control of his bike.

The man was driving on Northeast 10th Avenue and Ives Dairy Road at about 2 p.m. when he lost control as he attempted to change lanes. He slammed into a wall and then a light post, Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Joe Sanchez said.

The man was thrown from his motorcycle and died on the scene.
