Missing Miami Gardens baby found safe; father arrested

Miami Gardens police found a missing child and arrested her father Sunday night after asking for the public’s help in finding the girl.

Police charged Dexter Jones, 42, with removing a minor contrary to a court order.

An officer, acting on a tip, found both Jones and his 10-month-old daughter Arianna Willis at Northwest 199th Street and Second Avenue.

The child was unharmed and is now in the custody of the Department of Children & Families.
