Drivers identified in crash that killed UM graduate

Coral Gables police Monday identified the drivers involved in an early morning Sunday crash that left a recent University of Miami graduate dead.

Dino Ghilotti, who died as a result of injuries, was a passenger in a BMW driven by Allison Meyer of Coral Gables. A second vehicle, also a BMW, was driven by Rosalia Prado of Coral Gables.

Coral Gables police said the crash occurred at Bird Road at San Amaro Drive at 4:37 a.m. Coral Gables police continued to investigate Monday and provided no additional details.

Ghilotti graduated with a degree in business on Friday and was expected to soon join his family’s well-known construction firm, Ghilotti Construction, headquartered in Santa Rosa, Calif.
