Hip-hop, dance used to promote youth health at Jungle Island

Nearly 3,000 students from 15 middle schools and their families from around Miami-Dade County attended Jungle Island as it hosted the 2013 Hip Hop 4 Health Fair and Final Dance Competition on Saturday, May 4. At the event, music and dance were used to encourage physical activity, cardiovascular health and other positive healthy behaviors.
