Many people in Miami have fond memories of the Youth Fair, but they aren’t aware of a greater good — the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair exists primarily as a charity.
Our mission is to enrich the community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement.
This year more than 40,000 students exhibited their projects — from roosters to robots — to more than 575,000 guests during The Youth Fair’s 18-day run in March.
We rewarded students with more than $300,000 in college scholarships, cash prizes, awards, trophies and plaques.
This wasn’t a one-time gesture. The Youth Fair has provided more than $10 million in its 62-year history. And we look forward to 60 more years of helping students reach for the stars.
