Brush fire in SW Miami-Dade remains a mystery

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue crews don’t know what caused a brush fire that started over the weekend in Southwest Miami-Dade.

The fire burned for several hours near Bird Road and Southwest 162nd Avenue.

No homes or businesses in the area were threatened, according to the Florida Division of Forestry.

The call came in around 4:45p.m. and crews were on the scene for about three hours.
