What did the Miami Heat eat before the game? Shrimp tacos and leek tarts

Shrimp tacos. Spaghetti with turkey meatballs. Salad bar. Fruit platter. Grilled chicken. Leek tart. Brownies.

That's what Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, LeBron James and their Miami Heat teammates chowed on before Monday's Game 1 against the Chicago Bulls in the NBA's Eastern Conference semifinals.

Team food-service provider Michael Jacobs tweeted the menu Monday from his Strategic Hospitality Group account

While the spread sounds like a lot of food for guys who are about to physically exert themselves for upward of an hour, Jacobs pointed out that basketball players can burn up to 4,000 calories a day, meaning they can eat pretty much whatever they want.

Game 1 tips off at 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on TNT.
