Davie councilwoman to head Broward League of Cities



Davie Town Council member Susan Starkey has replaced Fort Lauderdale City Commissioner Bobby DuBose as president of the Broward League of Cities.

Starkey will be the League’s 56th president.

She has been Davie’s representative to the league since 2001, and has served on numerous committees, including the education committee, the water resource committee and the international relations committee.

The Broward League of Cities was founded in 1957 as a non-partisan, non-profit organization of elected officials from each municipality in the county, and is a member of the Florida League of Cities.
