Broward girl improves after gunshot by brother

The name of the little girl who was shot in the chest by her older brother was released by the Broward Sheriff’s Office on Monday.

Angela Divin, 6, is improving at the Broward Medical Health Center after being shot in the chest on Saturday night.

Her 13-year-old brother accidently pulled the trigger of a handgun he found while the two were alone at their Oakland Park home around 7 p.m., authorities said.

So far, there have been no arrests.

Authorities are not releasing the name of the boy.
