If chemical weapons are being used in Syria, how do we know who is using them? If the Islamist militants captured or obtained some chemical weapon material, perhaps from Iran, they would have no qualms about using them on their own people in the hopes that Bashar Assad would be blamed.
Then they could demand that the world take action against Assad’s forces, helping to depose him so they could set up another Islamic state. Our administration should tread carefully and learn the facts before interfering. Didn’t it learn from the mistakes of Iraq and Egypt? Nothing is as it seems in that quagmire of evil.
